We’ve been working hard to simplify and streamline the path to licensure, but our work isn’t finished yet. We want your input as we continue to identify ways to improve the profession.
Want to change the profession and be a voice for your fellow licensure candidates? Each year, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) selects 12 emerging professionals to serve on the Think Tank—and we’re now accepting applications! As a member of the Think Tank, you’ll help us identify the biggest challenges for candidates on the path to licensure, brainstorm new resources for students and AXP supervisors, provide feedback on NCARB’s ongoing initiatives, and more.
The deadline for applications is May 31, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
Check out the qualifications to apply. Be prepared to answer the following question in 300-500 words: What does being an architect mean to you? How have your views changed over time?
The 2017 Think Tank will convene September 22-23 in Washington, DC, as well as December 1-2 at the annual NCARB Committee Summit. Members will also participate in several virtual meetings and will be responsible for research and assignments throughout the year.
